Advent and Christmas at St Augustine’s

Here’s what’s happening…

 

Sunday 28th November

11am – Advent Sunday Eucharist Service

6pm – Darkness to Light Evening service

A service of hymns and readings for Advent “From Darkness to Light”. The service begins with the church in complete darkness, starting with a single candle before the light spreads through the building.

 

Wednesday 1st December

6pm – Christingle  

Come and hear more about what Christmas is all about, in our interactive Christingle service. Great for all ages.

 

Saturday 18th December

11am – Messy Christmas

Sunday 19th December

6pm – Carol Service

Sing along to some well-known carols, enjoy mulled wine and mince pies, and hear how this story might still be relevant today.

 

Christmas Eve

6pm – Crib Service

Our annual telling of the nativity story for all ages. Dress as your favourite nativity character if you wish, and come and join the fun!

11.30pm – Midnight Communion

 

Christmas Day

10am – Christmas Morning Family Service
