Sunday Services

All our Sunday morning services start at 11.00am.

All are welcome at our services, and there is usually provision for children at the back of the church.

First Sunday – Family Service

A family-friendly service suitable for all ages, which aims to get the message of Jesus across in a different way through a relevant theme. No books, no sheets – everything is on the screen.  We sometimes include craft within our worship.

Second Sunday – Family Service with Communion or Baptism

A family-friendly service suitable for all.  This service will include either communion, where we share bread and wine and reflect on Jesus’ words at the last supper “do this in remembrance of me”, or baptisms where we welcome both children and adults into the worldwide church family.

Baptisms are usually held in March, May, June, July, August and September.  Please see the baptism page for further information.

Third Sunday – Family Service

St Augustine’s has a long relationship with Rodbourne Methodist Church, and once a month, we unite for worship.  On the odd numbered month’s (i.e. January, March etc), the service is held at Rodbourne Methodist Church.  On the even months (February, April etc) when the service is at St Augustine’s it is a family service.  This service usually uses the screen.

This is a family-friendly service suitable for all ages, which aims to get the message of Jesus across in a different way through a relevant theme. No books, no sheets – everything is on the screen.  We sometimes include craft within our worship.

Fourth Sunday – Family Service with Communion

Informal communion service suitable for all the family.

Fifth Sunday – Sunday Service

The service on the fifth Sunday varies, and we often try different styles of worship.
