Rodbourne Helping Hand – Christmas Joy

Earlier in the year at the start of the first lockdown, a group of people set up the Rodbourne Helping Hand Group to help those who were struggling during the lockdown.  It was amazing seeing our community pull together at a difficult time to help those in need.

As we go through another lockdown, we’ve been thinking about helping out members of the community over the Christmas period.  During December, we’d like to give a small present to those in our community who may be struggling – perhaps an elderly neighbour who lives alone, someone who is struggling in other ways and who would appreciate something that will cheer them up?

We are planning on providing a box of small gifts which invoke the five senses, and that will bring a smile to the person receiving it, to show that they are cared for at this time of year.  Let’s spread a bit of Christmas Joy in what’s been a tough year for all of us.

If you know of anyone who is living on their own who would appreciate one of these presents, please get in touch by completing the form below.

If you would like to get involved in another way, whether that’s helping put the gifts together, financially or in any other way, please get in touch with us by emailing

Do you know if the person has any of the following? (Please enter specific details in the information box at the bottom of this form)

Would you like to let the person know you have nominated them?

Please note that we will not use your details for any other purpose than to help distribute the boxes and will not be passed onto any other person.  Details will be kept securely and then deleted permanently after use.  Please see our privacy policy for more details on how we deal with your information.
