Swindon175 – A Rodbourne Celebration

Made in Swindon Arts Trail

The church is a stop on the Made in Swindon Arts Trail which takes place from 5th June to 3rd July 2016.  Visitors will be able to see the permanent artwork by artist Fleur Kelly installed in the church in 1987 – 1995 as well as a temporary display of art by local artists.  The church will be open at the following times: Tuesdays: 12.00-14.00, Wednesdays: 9.30-11.00, Thursdays and Fridays: 17.00-19.00, Saturdays: 9.30-12.00, Sundays: 9.30-10.30.

Community Festival Day

Saturday 25th June sees a community festival day starting at 10am which will including stalls, refreshments, tours of the church and displays. There will also be a BBQ in the church garden.  There will be displays from , Historic England and Even Swindon Primary School, and artwork by local artists.  Entry will be free but donations will be welcome.

Civic Service of Thanksgiving

Sunday 26th June at 3pm.  There will be a service of Thanksgiving attended by local dignitaries to celebrate Swindon.  The overall theme of the service will be looking to the future but there will be a time of reflection on the past, including a short act of remembrance.
